Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in PHPCityPortal, which can be exploited by malicious users and malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "req_username" and "req_password" parameters in login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows logging in without valid credentials, but may require that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
2) Input passed via the "userName" parameter to profile.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
