Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in IBM AFS, which can potentially be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS(Denial if Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.
1) An unspecified error in the Linux client can be exploited to cause a crash. No further information is currently available.
This vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 3.6 Patch 19.
2) An integer overflow error in the XDR library can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow and potentially execute arbitrary code with root privileges on an affected server.
This vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 3.6 Patch 5.1.
