Description: hack4love has discovered a vulnerability in Xenorate Media Player, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing of XPL files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a specially crafted XPL file is opened.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.6.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
