Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the ImageCache module for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions and conduct script insertion attacks.

1) Certain input passed to user-supplied preset variables is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.

Successful exploitation requires "administer imagecache" permissions.

2) The module does not properly restrict access to original images when generating derivative images, which can be exploited to access original images without having the proper permissions.

Successful exploitation requires that the private filesystem is enabled and that the attacker knows the filename of the image.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 5.x prior to 5.x-2.5 and 6.x prior to 6.x-2.0-beta10.
