Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Expat XML Parser, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) An error within the "updatePosition()" function in lib/xmltok_impl.c can be exploited to crash an application using the library via specially crafted XML data.
2) An error within the "doProlog()" function in lib/xmlparse.c can be exploited to crash an application using the library via specially crafted XML data.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.95.8 and 2.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
