ahwak2000 has discovered a vulnerability in Fat Player, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing WAV files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a specially crafted WAV file is being played.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.6b. Other versions may also be affected.

Do not open files from untrusted sources.
