Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in multiple Symantec products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing email messages and can be exploited to disable an email client by placing it in an infinite loop where unsuccessful email retrievals are repeatedly attempted.

* Norton AntiVirus 2005 through 2008
* Norton Internet Security 2005 through 2008
