Description: A vulnerability has been discovered in Kaspersky Online Scanner, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the signed kos-main.jar applet loading ".dll" files from unsigned jar files hosted on untrusted servers. This can be exploited to load arbitrary ".dll" files by tricking a user into visiting a malicious website.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 7.0. Other versions may also be affected.
