Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Windows, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Errors in the TCP/IP processing can be exploited to cause a system to stop responding to new requests by flooding it.

For more information:
SA36597

2) An error in the TCP/IP stack when processing TCP/IP packets may result in state information not being cleaned up correctly. This can be exploited via a specially crafted TCP/IP packet to cause a certain field to be dereferenced as a pointer.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
