Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in multiple Cisco products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) Multiple errors exist in the TCP implementation when processing the state of a connection. These can be exploited to place TCP connections in a long-lived state and consume a large amount of resources.
This is related to vulnerability #1 in:
SA36597
2) An error in Cisco NX-OS for Nexus 5000 platforms can be exploited to crash an affected system when processing a specially crafted sequence of TCP packets.
Please see the vendor's advisory for a complete list of affected products and versions.
