Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the CMU Sieve plugin for Dovecot, which can be exploited by malicious users to potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

1) An error in the handling of Sieve scripts can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow.

This may be related to:
SA36629

2) Multiple unspecified boundary errors can be exploited to cause buffer overflows via specially crafted Sieve scripts.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.0.4 and 1.1.7.
