Description: Fedora has issued an update for puppet. This fixes a weakness and a security issue, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to potentially disclose sensitive information and gain escalated privileges.
1) The security issue is caused due to insecure permissions being set for the /var/log/puppet directory and can be exploited to potentially access restricted files.
2) A weakness is caused due to "puppetmasterd" not properly dropping supplementary groups.
