Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Novell GroupWise, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks, potentially bypass security restrictions, disclose sensitive information, or compromise a user's system.

1) Input passed via the "User.Theme.index" parameter to the WebAccess interface is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Multiple errors in the Microsoft Visual Studio Active Template Library (ATL) used by the GroupWise Windows client can be exploited to potentially bypass security features, gain knowledge of sensitive information, or compromise a user's system.
