Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Newt, which can potentially be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and compromise an application using the library.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the "doReflow()" function in textbox.c. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow e.g. if an application prints a specially crafted text in a reflowing textbox.
The vulnerability is reported in version 0.52.10. Other Versions may also be affected.
