Description: Fedora has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in systemtap, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) A stack overflow exists when handling a large amount of parameters passed to formatted printing functions, which can be exploited to cause a kernel crash.
2) An error exists within the handling of certain DWARF expressions. This can be exploited to cause a kernel crash by providing specially crafted DWARF information.
3) An error exists within the handling of unwind tables, which can be exploited to cause an infinite loop.
Note: Successful exploitation requires that the "--unprivileged" mode is used, which is not enabled by default.
