Description
Daniel King has reported two vulnerabilities in McAfee Network Security Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "node" and "iaction" parameters in Login.jsp is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

NOTE: The lack of HttpOnly use in generated session cookies was also reported.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 5.1.7.7. Other versions prior to 5.1.11.6 may also be affected.

Solution
Install NSM update 5.1.11.8.1 or above:
