Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose potentially sensitive information, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and potentially gain escalated privileges.
1) A locking error exists within the "pipe_rdwr_open()", "pipe_write_open()", and "pipe_read_open()" functions in fs/pipe.c. This can be exploited to cause a NULL pointer dereference by performing certain pipe operations.
2) An error within the "do_mmap_pgoff()" function in mm/nommu.c can be exploited to cause a NULL pointer dereference by e.g. trying to execute a specially crafted ELF file.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the kernel is compiled with the "CONFIG_MMU" option disabled.
3) An error within the system call handling in arch/x86/ia32/ia32entry.S can be exploited to leak certain kernel data through the EBP register.
