Description

Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Adobe Illustrator, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

1) An error in the parsing of Encapsulated Postscript Files (.eps) can be exploited to corrupt memory when a user opens a specially crafted .eps file.

2) A boundary error in the parsing of Encapsulated Postscript Files (.eps) can be exploited to cause buffer overflows via a specially crafted .eps file.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version CS4 14.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
