Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Horde Groupware and Horde Groupware Webmail Edition, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed via the URL to admin/phpshell.php, admin/cmdshell.php, and admin/sqlshell.php is is not properly sanitised before being returned. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Horde's HTML input sanitation mechanism does not properly filter certain "data:" URIs. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
This may only affect certain Gecko-based browsers (e.g. Mozilla Firefox).
