LionTurk has discovered a security issue in Acidcat CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The security issue is caused due to improper access restrictions to the "acidcat_3.mdb" database file in the databases directory. This can be exploited to download the database and disclose admin credentials used to access the administration panel.
The security issue is confirmed in version 3.5.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Restrict access to the the "acidcat_3.mdb" file in the databases directory.
