Some vulnerabilities have been reported in SupportSuite, eSupport, and LiveResponse, some of which have an unknown impact, while others can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed via the "subject" and "contents" parameters to staff/index.php (when "_m" is set to "knowledgebase" and "_a" is set to "insertquestion") is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.
2) Input passed to the "oldpassword" parameter in index.php (when "_m" is set to "core" and "_a" is set to "changepassword") is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
3) Some vulnerabilities are caused due to unspecified errors. No further information is currently available.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 3.70.01. Other versions may also be affected.
