Description

A vulnerability has been reported in TIBCO Administrator, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in TIBRepoServer5.jar and can be exploited to perform certain actions with administrative privileges.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code on systems that are participants in a TIBCO domain using JMS as the communication transport.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 5.4.0 through 5.6.0.

Solution
Update to version 5.6.1 or later.
