Description

Debian has issued an update for php5. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference error when processing XML-RPC requests, which can be exploited to cause a crash by sending specially crafted XML-RPC requests.
