Description

A vulnerability has been discovered in MyBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in MyBB's template parser, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by tricking an administrator into installing a malicious template.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.4.11. Other versions may also be affected.

Update to version 1.6.4.
