Three vulnerabilities have been reported in IBM WebSphere Application Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose potentially sensitive information and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) An error when defining a wsadmin scripting J2CConnectionFactory object results in passwords being stored unencrypted in the resources.xml file.
2) An error during the SSL handshake with ORB clients causes the ORB thread to hang and prevents other clients from connecting.
3) Unspecified input passed to the Administration Console is not properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 6.0, 6.1, and 7.0.
