A vulnerability has been reported in Apache CouchDB, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The vulnerability is caused due to the algorithms used for verifying certain hashes and passwords having a predictable execution time. This can be exploited to disclose sensitive data via brute force attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 0.8.0 through 0.10.1.
Solution: Update to version 0.11.0.
