Description


A vulnerability has been reported in MoinMoin, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed via the page name is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user in Despam.py. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the Despam functionality is used on a page with a specially crafted page name.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.9.2 and 1.8.7.


Solution:
Update to version 1.9.3.
