Description

A vulnerability has been reported in VMware Fusion, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the implementation of the virtual networking stack. This can be exploited from a guest operating system to disclose certain memory from the host "vmware-vmx" process.


Solution
Update to version 3.0.1 build 232708 or later.
