Description

Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in GetSimple CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input appended to the URL after admin/components.php, admin/resetpassword.php, admin/settings.php, admin/support.php, admin/theme-edit.php, and admin/theme.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.

2) Input appended to the URL after multiple scripts is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Examples:
http://[host]/admin/archvie.php/[code]
http://[host]/admin/edit.php/[code]
http://[host]/admin/image.php/[code]
http://[host]/admin/log.php/[code]
http://[host]/admin/pages.php/[code]
http://[host]/admin/upload.php/[code]

3) Input passed via the "Referer" HTTP header to admin/changedata.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.01. Other versions may also be affected.
