Description

Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Google Chrome, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and potentially compromise a user's system.

1) An unspecified error can be exploited to bypass the same origin policy of the Google URL (GURL).

2) An unspecified error within the HTML5 Media handling can be exploited to cause a memory corruption.

3) An unspecified error within the font handling can be exploited to cause a memory corruption.

I have attempted to remove Google chrome from my computer but have been repeatedly unsuccessful. I keep getting a message that I need to close all Chrome windows - but none are open. Suggestions?

UPDATE - Found the answer on this board and successfully removed the old version. Now my scan is 100 percent.

Hello.
Are you being guided by what Secunia is finding with regard to vulnerabilities or is it that you can't uninstall via Add/ Remove programs ? Have you tried Revounistaller....it does a thorough job, and guides thro' removal of left over traces of progs as well ? Regards,
