Local system

Impact:

CVE Reference(s):

Description

A vulnerability has been reported in Consona CRM Suite, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to the Repair Service (tgsrv.exe) using a weak method to verify the origin of commands received via the local named pipe. This can be exploited to e.g. execute arbitrary files with elevated privileges by sending specially crafted commands to the Repair Service.

Note: This may only affect systems running Windows Vista or Windows 7.
