Description

VMware has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in VMware vMA, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain system information, overwrite arbitrary files, bypass certain security restrictions, cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and gain escalated privileges, and by malicious people to cause a DoS.

Solution
Restrict access to trusted users only, do not mount untrusted images and restrict network access using a firewall.
