Description

Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in PG eLMS Pro, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed via the "course_id" parameter to subscribe.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed via the "msg" parameter to error.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

3) Input passed via the "subject", "name", "email", and "body" parameters to contact_us.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

4) Input passed via the "lang_code" parameter to index.php and login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

5) Input passed via the "login" parameter to login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows bypassing the authentication mechanism.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version DEC.2007 (Trial). Other versions may also be affected.


Solution
Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
