Abdul-Aziz Hariri has discovered a vulnerability in Oracle Business Intelligence, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error in the NQSMultiHeap.dll library when allocating memory. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by sending a TCP packet containing a string with an overly long size to port 9703.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 10.1.3.2.1 and reported in versions 10.1.3.4.1 and 188.8.131.52.
