A vulnerability has been discovered in OpenSSL, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise an application using the library.
The vulnerability is caused due to a use-after-free error within the "ssl3_get_key_exchange()" function in ssl/s3_clnt.c and can be exploited by e.g. tricking a client into connecting to a malicious server.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.0a. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Connect to trusted servers only.
