Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Pligg, which can be exploited by malicious users and malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "title" parameter in storyrss.php and story.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "role" parameter in groupadmin.php (when "id" and "userid" are set is) not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.1.1.
