A vulnerability has been reported in KnowledgeTree, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the search2/ajax/metadata.php script, which does not properly checking for authentication before querying the database. This can be exploited to access otherwise restricted information about document types, fieldsets, and fields.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 3.6.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Update to version 3.6.1 or later.
