Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Car Portal, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed via the "y" parameter to include/images.php and via the "car_make" parameter to index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "car" parameter to index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) Input passed via the "Email" and "Password" POST parameters to loginaction.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
NOTE: This vulnerability can further be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
