Description

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Symantec IM Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed via the "email" parameter to IMAdminScheduleReport.asp, "groupList" parameter to IMAdminReportTrendFormRun.asp, "selclause", "whereTrendTimeClause", "TrendTypeForReport", "whereProtocolClause", and "groupClause" parameters to rdpageimlogic.aspx and SummaryReportGroup.lgx, "loginTimeStamp", "dbo", "dateDiffParam", and "whereClause" parameters to LoggedInUSers.lgx, unspecified parameters to DetailReportGroup.lgx, and "rdReport" parameter to rdpageimlogic.aspx is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 8.4.16.
