Description


Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Xen, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerabilities are caused due to the backend drivers leaking references to kernel threads, which can be exploited out of a guest virtual machine to e.g. prevent a proper virtual machine shutdown and stop the "xm" commands from working correctly.


Solution:
Fixed in the Mercurial repository.
