Description


A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Exchange Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the Exchange Server store (store.exe) when processing RPC requests and can be exploited to cause an infinite loop within the service via a specially crafted request.

Successful exploitation requires a server to be configured with the "Mailbox Server" role.

The vulnerability is reported for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SP2 for x64-based systems only.
