Description


A weakness has been reported in BlackBerry Desktop Software, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct brute force attacks.

The application generates database backup files with insufficient encryption, which can be exploited to decrypt the backup file via brute force attacks.

The weakness is reported in version 6.0.


Solution:
Update to version 6.0.1.
