Some vulnerabilities have been reported in MHonArc, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) Input passed via specially crafted HTML tags is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session when the converted mail is viewed.

2) An error exists within the processing of nested HTML tags, which can be exploited to cause a Denial of Service via a specially crafted HTML message.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2.6.17.

Solution
Update to version 2.6.17 or later.
