A vulnerability has been reported in Linksys WRT54GC, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due a boundary error when handling HTTP POST requests sent to the web-based management interface. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via an overly long string sent in a POST request.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.06.1.
