Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Cisco Content Services Gateway (CSG2), which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) An error when checking access policies can be exploited to gain access to restricted sites by sending specially crafted HTTP packets.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires accessing a non-accounted site first.
2) An unspecified error can be exploited to cause the device to reload or hang via specially crafted TCP packets
3) A second unspecified error can be exploited to cause the device to reload or hang via specially crafted TCP packets
Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities requires only a single content service to be active. Additionally, a TCP three-way handshake is not required.
