Description


A vulnerability has been reported in Mutare Software Enabled VoiceMail (EVM), which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due the application allowing users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing proper validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. delete a user's voice messages or change a user's PIN and forwarding email address when a logged-in user visits a specially crafted web page.


Solution:
Do not browse untrusted web sites or follow untrusted links while being logged-in to the application.
