A vulnerability has been reported in Asterisk, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the "parse_uri_full()" function in channels/sip/reqresp_parser.c and can be exploited to cause a crash by sending a specially crafted contact header.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 1.8.x prior to 220.127.116.11.
Solution: Update to version 18.104.22.168 or apply patch.
