Description

A weakness has been reported in NetBSD, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain system information.

The weakness is caused due to a signedness error in sys/net80211/ieee80211_ioctl.c when handling the "IEEE80211_IOC_CHANINFO" IOCTL and can be exploited to disclose some kernel memory.

Successful exploitation requires a non-x86 based platform.
