Description


A security issue has been reported in Kerberos Applications, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the FTP daemon failing to drop its effective group identifier (EGID) privileges. This can be exploited to gain access to files and directories owned by the same group as the EGID of the daemon process.

The security issue is reported in version 1.0.1 and prior.
