Description

A weakness has been reported in GNOME vte, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The weakness is caused due to an error when handling certain escape sequences, which can be exploited to cause a memory exhaustion and crash an application using the library.

The weakness is reported in version prior to 0.28.1.

Update to version 0.28.1.
